We bought the land in 2019 and finished building the villa in 2021. Kediri is the kind of village where you can still hear the morning call to prayer over the rice fields. We loved that, and kept the house quiet, low, and warm, with materials that age the way Bali does best.

The villa is privately hosted. There's no front desk, no concierge desk. Just us, our housekeeper Wayan, and a small team of trusted partners we work with for surf, spa, drivers, and chefs. If something can be made better, it usually means we've made it ourselves.
